Everyone always loves sunny days, but of course the photographer prays for anything but. Still, if you beat the light into submission, sometimes it can yield some fun things.

Eiffel Tower
It's one of the most photographed structures in the world. But it's well worth it! The Eiffel Tower at night should be on anyone's "bucket list." It simply sparkles.

Albert Memorial
I love how Europe has random statues and memorials built everywhere -- they're so seemingly random! This one was my favorite in London -- the beautiful Albert Memorial, at one end of Hyde Park, right across from the Royal Albert Hall.

Wedding Monochrome
There's always something so classic about a good monochrome shot. I'm picky about them, but when they work, I really like them. These were my favorite selections from a recent wedding.

Being Sneaky in the Abbey
As a photographer and a cathedral collector, I was excited by the opportunity to capture the beautiful Westminster Abbey. Imagine my frustration when I got there and paid for an entry ticket (quite an expensive one at that) only to discover that they didn't allow photography inside anymore.
I won't go into the myriad of lame excuses they gave me (or the way I blew each and every one of them out of the water)...but I will confess that I was rather naughty and sneaked a couple of choice shots in blindly under my arm.
