What a wonderful weekend we get to enjoy.  My favorite holiday, Christmas.

Many families carry on the tradition of reading the Christmas story from the Bible -- and in that light, I thought I would post a couple of nativity shots.

I confess -- I love a good sparklie!  And one of the best parts of Christmas for me is all the fun "bling"!  Especially when I whip out the star filter and each light on the tree becomes a bright shiny star.

Christmas Bits and Baubles

This weekend, while visiting a friend, I got to help her decorate her Christmas tree.  It's always one of my favorite holiday activities.  Bring on the ornaments!

I wear this pin every year.  The minute the holiday season opens, the pin comes out and is proudly worn, along with the hat.

Pioneer Day

In Utah, we celebrate an extra holiday here in July -- Pioneer Day.  It's a part of the Latter Day Saint Culture, a reminder of the pioneers who journeyed across the land in search of a place where they could freely practice their religion.  There have been fireworks all weekend, so I thought in honor of that, I'd include some of my favorite fireworks shots over the years.  It's hardly my forte, but it's fun.
