Autumn Magic

Autumn is really my favorite time of year.  Cool breezes, crisp air...and of course the amazing colors!  It's always struck me as such a shame that fall colors don't last very long.

This weekend, I took a lovely drive through Sundance and my camera and I had some fun.  I'd stop at random spots and stroll along looking for spots I hadn't yet seen.  I ended up finding a couple of good ones!  And I let Autumn take me to a place of enchantment.

Farewell to Fall

Sadly, Autumn has waved good-bye.  Winter rears its chilly head and we'll all soon see some snow.
In the meantime, I have saved out a few favorites to say "farewell" to an all-too-short season.

Autumn Macro

How could I resist getting "up close and personal" with the leaves of autumn?

Delicious Autumn!

Autumn is nearing its close.  But this is why I love being a photographer -- I can capture, keep, and enjoy autumn whenever I choose through images.

"Delicious autumn!  My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns."  -George Eliot

Fall Foliage

New England we ain't.  But Utah's aspens can yield some beautiful colors in the fall.  Autumn is my favorite time of year for photos.  Warm light, clear crisp air, and pleasant temperatures.  The colors make it just about perfect.  The biggest shame is that it goes so fast.
