Candids of Evan

Boy: n  A noise with dirt on it.

I'm visiting a dear friend of mine for a couple of weeks in Northern California.  She's got two cute boys and I think they're awesome.  But boy, can they get filthy faster than anything!  :-)  Evan, the older of the two, spent some mighty fun outside-time playing in the dirt, drawing with chalk, and then topping it all off with some water balloon tossing.  I couldn't resist catching a few shots.  It's the epitome of boyhood.

Prayer

Paul and I gave talks in church today, on the topic of prayer.  Prayer, to me, is one of the most beautiful things ever.

"Think of it: the absolute Supreme Being, the most all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful personage, encourages you and me, as insignificant as we are, to converse with Him as our Father.  He has created numberless cosmos and populated them with worlds, yet you and I can talk with Him personally, and He will answer."  (Richard G. Scott)
